I cannot get rid of vista entries on boot up

In order to have a drive show up as one of the options to boot from I have to manage the list of drives in the first list.

Strange vista problems...
It would be like altering your framebuffer boot splash screen, which until relatively recently required a kernel patch on linux, thus if screwed it up, your system won't function. 4+ years is "relatively recently" for you? good to know.
